Korea 2018 Day 9 & 10 : Lotte Outlet -> Lotte Mart -> Myeongdong -> Itawon

Day 9 :

Today we decided to forgo our Yong San Gamjatang, but to try the hangover soup at the restaurant few steps next to it. I can't figure out the name of the restaurant anyway and google map can't find them too. All I can say is it is located between to the children hospital and Yong San Gamgatang.

Operating Hours : 24 hrs

We didn't even drink any alcohol and yet where are here to drink hangover soup! Haha!

Free flow of their speciality hand made kimchi!

Looks good!

I had Hwangtae haejangguk ( dried pollock soup ) because this is the only soup without beef in it.

Wen had Yukgaejang ( spicy beef soup ).

I'm gonna eat like a local! Put the whole bowl of rice and soak into the soup.

After lunch, walk over to Lotte outlet which is just diagonal opposite our apartment ( here's another reason why I choose this apartment building ).

We might not have anything to buy here but still wanna have a look.

Look at this super cute matching denim jacket! ( don't worry, I didn't buy it! Obviously I can't fit in... )

And time to spend some money in Lotte Mart!

It's afternoon and it's so crowded?

Coffee powder stock up! First time trying this brand.

Both of us sharing 1 push cart, which means we didn't buy a lot right?

No carrier so we do self packing using the free carton box at the packing area.

Went back home to put our loots and off we go for a coffee time at Angel-in-us café located at the Seoul ( subway ) station.

I had cold brew latte and Wen tried their purple potato latte. The purple drinks looks weird but apparently she say it's super nice!

Back to Myeongdong again to grab whatever we need because it is our last night in Korea already! Time flies!

La La mart sells some snacks that you don't see it in Lotte Mart.

A cat that I always see when I come to Myeongdong and today he is tired... Haha!

Time to stuff food into our tummy!

And dinner time! We really have no idea what to eat and we got attracted by the big pan display outside, so we decided to eat at this Bbandak Bbandak!

Operating Hours : 10.30am to 11.55pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Surprisingly it's full house and we have to wait for awhile and after us, there is still a few groups of people queuing behind us.

Finally got our table and we order the chicken and pork cutlet set!

This is how big this pan is!

Look at the cheeeesssseeee!! Yummy! Taste is much better then I expected!

Back to our apartment ( the tallest building ) to start packing our luggage...

Part of my look during this trip! Packing starts now!
Good night!

Day 10 :

We still have the whole day before we head off to the airport, so we went to Itawon.

Love Noksapyeong station! So artistic!

Nice weather today!

Found this cute drink at GS25 ( convenience store )!

We are here to look for a café so we alight at the Noksapyeong station ( exit 1 ) instead of Itawon station because it's nearer to the café.

The café is located at the opposite from the train station exit.

Look at the clear blue sky! The sky is clear that Seoul tower can be seen from here!

Very chill area with many café and restaurant around!

Café with a nice view but it's not the café we are looking for.

Another nice café!

Walk pass a ally and saw this sign board above.

Happen to see someone on fire and the fire fighter is here to put out the fire!

Having a hard time finding the way to the café because google map doesn't work well here!
So here's how to walk to the café, turn left into the small ally when you see Dan & Chung.

Walk straight and you will see Upper East, continue to walk straight.

Again pass by many unique café.

Continue walking and you will see Mafia Dessert. Looks good and I shall come back here to try during my next visit to Seoul!

Finally found the café, C.Through

Operating Hours : 12pm to 10pm ( Friday to Wednesday )
12pm to 8pm ( Thursday )

What so special about this café? Of course is their instagramable coffee! ( ok and their famous good looking barista boss! but we didn't get to see the boss... )

The staff there actually can't speak English and there is no English menu too, so we can only order through their "picture menu".

My brown bear coffee! Not sure what is it but quite nice. Oh ya it's cold coffee by the way.

Wen's messy but artistic coffee! ( p/s: I love this table lamp! haha! )

OMG! Super pink toilet! Got a shock of my life when I walk into the toilet! Haha!

Heading back to our apartment.

One last meal at Yong San Gamjatang before leaving this place!

Omg... I'm gonna miss this gamjatang again once I leave Korea!

Back to apartment, bathed and sun is setting, which means time to head to the airport!

You must be wondering how come we can still bath in the apartment when by right we should have already check out in the morning right? We are actually very thankful that our host agree to let us have late check out, I really mean very late check out after knowing that our flight is late night and have no place to keep our luggage.

Come with 1 luggage but going back with 3! Actually the black bag are all snacks and the carton box are all seaweed! Haha!

Walk over to Seoul station to take our Arex express train to airport. ( another main reason why I choose the apartment building! )

Bye Seoul! See you soon!

Haha! Even my new friend is tearing, knowing that holiday has end!

This is what happen when you shop too much! Stress when we reach airport and first thing to do is to weight our luggage! Haha!

Flight got delay for an hour so each of us received a free meal voucher of 15000 won ( SG$18.50 )from Singapore Airline.

Before getting our dinner, let's settle the tax refund first.

Why queue at the bear at Myeongdong where there is one at the airport without anybody queuing?

It's late already so we couldn't get our refund back from the usual tax refund counter so we need to head to the counter above gate 27.

Another bear with no queue!

Even when we have the meal voucher, all the restaurants are close! Luckily there is still some 24hrs restaurant left.

And our choice is Lotteria!

Because the amount of the meal voucher is quite a lot so we have to order so much too!

Ready to go!

Bye bye…And good night!

Suddenly I woke up from my sleep, looked outside the window and realise we are flying through all the shinny stars! So beautiful, so amazing! Good thing that I'm using Gopro if not there is no way to use phone to take the picture of the stars!

Wake up again and it's time for breakfast and reaching Singapore soon!

Here's the end of the Korea trip and stay tune to my next destination!
