Day 5 :

Good morning! Here's the morning view from our room.

After having breakfast in the hotel, went nearby to have a walk at the Yarra river as it's still not time yet to check-in in our Airbnb.

After a small morning exercise, time for some shopping at DFO South Wharf which is just next to our Pan Pacific hotel.

Operating Hours : 10am to 6pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Many brands in the DFO so we actually spend quite long in this place! Adidas here is really a good grab!

After shopping, it's lunch time!

We are going to have express lunch at Meat Market!

Operating Hours : 12pm to 10pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Time to check in our Aibnb at Gladstone street! Took Uber from Pan Pacific Hotel to our apartment and it took us about 15mins to reach.

Our home for the next 2 night! Here's the living room.

Showing off my happy purchase from the Adidas at DFO! It cost only SG$57! Worth buying isn't it?

Rest a bit and off we go to the supermarket again!

We walk from our apartment for about 10mins to the Woolworths at the Cecil street.

Operating Hours : 7am to 12am ( Monday to Sunday )

Gonna grab some snacks to bring back home and work for family and friends!

Done with shopping and saw a pinky sky while walking back to our apartment!

So fast it's dinner time again! Tonight we are meeting Teresa's cousin who is now living in Melbourne for dinner at Trattoria Emilia, recommended by her.

Operating Hours : 7am to 10pm ( Monday to Friday )
8am to 10pm ( Saturday )
Close on Sunday

Food here is actually not bad!

After dinner and we went to the nearby Chemist Warehouse for more shopping! Chemist Warehouse is one of their popular pharmacy where many people go there to grab some vitamin, medical or even skincare.

Operating Hours : 7.30am to 10pm ( Monday to Friday )
8am to 9pm ( Saturday )
9am to 9pm ( Sunday )

After some shopping, we took the free tram to Crown Hotel and Casino to have a look at the Casino and also to walk to Teresa's cousin's house to chill.

Operating Hours : 24 Hours

Bought some dessert from the Crown Hotel and walk over to Teresa's cousin's house to chit chat and chill!

Welfie before going home!

Back to our own apartment and we are hungry again! Luckily we bought some eggs and cup noodle when we are at Woolworths!

Happy tummy and time to say good night!

Day 6 :

Good morning!

Walking over to South Melbourne Market which is just near the Woolworths that we went yesterday.

This bridge again!

Pass by a ally with graffiti on the wall!

Here we are at the South Melbourne Market.

Operating Hours : Close on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
8am to 4pm ( Wednesday, Saturday  and Sunday )
8am to 5pm ( Friday )

Quite a big market selling many things.

And of course many food to choose from here too!

Not forgetting all the fresh seafood here!

According to Teresa's cousin, Agathe is a very popular pastry shop here and we can totally see how popular it is by looking at their queue!

Every pastry here is freshly bake and quite a wide variety to choose from! Totally spoilt for choice now...

Beside at the South Melbourne Market, they have another outlet near the Chemist Warehouse that we went yesterday.

Operating Hours : 8am to 3pm ( Tuesday to Friday )
Close on Saturday to Monday

Tea from Tea Drop for the rest of them.

And coffee from Padre for me!

Got ourselves some seafood from South Melbourne Seafood ( SMS? ). Not sure about the price because I'm not the one who ordered but seafood is quite fresh.

Pastry, seafood, sashimi, oyster, tea and coffee, what a weird combination for breakfast?!

Back to South Wharf! Actually we are only passing by. We walked from South Melbourne Market to South Wharf to take the free tram to tour the city.

Took the City Circle line which will bring us to certain place for free.

Here's the place where the tram will bring you there for free!

Old school tram!

Touring the city in the tram...

Wanna go to the Hosier Lane so we alighted at Russel Street to walk over.

Here we are at the Hosier Lane! I really wanted to come here because here is one of the graffiti street that is famous and kind of represents Melbourne!

Artist working in progress...

The whole place is filled with graffiti! Basically non of the wall is not filled with colour.

Finally found a quiet corner for some welfie and selfie!

The graffiti are all very nice but honestly speaking some corner are just too smelly with urine smell! Yucks!

Found another artist at work.

Done in less then 10mins!

His work and his Instagram to follow!

Hop on the free tram again to the next destination.

It's shopping time at Bourke Street Mall!

First stop and they are stuck in here! Apparently Pandora is much cheaper in Australia compare to Singapore ( including airport ) so this explain why they can't leave this place once they walked in!

Not a collector of Pandora so I went to shop around alone.

After getting quite a few items from the DFO Adidas, buying from retail stores became a very foolish act! Haha! Anyway I still went in to have a look and to realise it's not any cheaper compare to Singapore! My advice is either buy from DFO or just buy in Singapore.

Roaming around and found another graffiti ally.

Suddenly it pours! But wait, it's not the usual rain! It's hail!

Finally they are done shopping in Pandora! Kind of hungry now so we went into Emporium to hunt for some food.

Don't know what to eat so it's comfort Asian food again!

I would say the Chinese food here are quite authentic ( obviously right? because it's cook by Chinese ), not bad!

Continue shopping and see who we bump into! Why is Elmo walking on the street?

Walk and walk and here we are at the Chinatown of Melbourne! Side track : Is the red lantern a must to identify Chinatown in all country? I think I sees it almost at all Chinatown of different country. Agree?

Boost is one of my favorite drinks and since Boost is origin from Australia, how can I not have it right?

So yup! Here I'm ordering one! But who is Olkvia?

Shopping time again and this time round is at Melbourne Central Mall

Operating Hours : 10am to 7pm ( Saturday to Wednesday )
10am to 9pm ( Thursday and Friday )

Got attracted into this KitKat Chocolatory because it doesn't look like any other KitKat shops... ( just an excuse to shop.. )

SEE! There is special edition! This is not the usual KitKat shop! Haha!

Want more then special edition? You can actually made to order the packaging for your KitKat, which is actually good as a gift.

This is an example.

We got ourselves the special edition KitKat to share and it's really quite unique.

Walking back to Hosier Lane for our dinner reservation and pass by the famous Flinders Street Railway Station! The station looks so beautiful at night with the lighting.

Back to Hosier Lane!

And it's dinner time! Gonna have Tapas at Movida.

Operating Hours : 12pm to 10pm ( Sunday to Thursday )
12pm to 10.30pm ( Friday and Saturday )

Table all fully taken so I suggest to make reservation before heading down.

Everything here is so nice! Yummy!

After a yummy dinner and time to head back home!
Good night!

Day 7 :

Good morning! Today is our last day in Melbourne! Checked out our apartment, left our luggage at Teresa's cousin's house, and took a Uber to St Kilda beach. There is a weekend market which only opens on Sunday and sells food and some hand crafted items.

Operating Hours : 10am to 4pm ( Sunday only )

Many stalls here selling hand made items!

Nice painting for sale!

Walk the whole market and manage to get myself a hand made silver bangle! My Souvenir from here!

Saw something on top of the tree?

Let me zoom in for you. It's wild birds ( or is it a parrot? )!

Nice weather and here's my double date models of the day!

Luna park is the amusement park located at St Kilda beach. We didn't go in as we don't have much time left.

Operating Hours : 11am to 6pm ( Sunday to Thursday )
11am to 8pm ( Saturday )
Close on Friday

It's lunch time! Randomly picked Donovans to have our last lunch in Melbourne.

Operating Hours : 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 9pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Nice and relaxing interior.

Beach view and outdoor table but it's too cold to stay outside.

Food here is nice too! Price point are slightly higher but still think that we made the right choose to eat here.

Even the toilet is so instagramable!

After a full lunch, walking along the St Kilda beach to digest our food.

Another model of mine!

Many people bring their dogs here too!

The weather really changes very fast! It was blue sky with beautiful white cotton candy cloud when we just arrive this place and now it's all dark cloud.

Vintage tram! Actually this is a Tram Restaurant where you can tour the city with the tram and have your lunch in the tram.

Before heading back to get our luggage, coffee is needed!

So cute! The dog with blue clothes got scolded for eating rubbish found on the ground! Haha!

Grab our luggage and off we go to the airport! After checked in, we went to Hungry Jack for our dinner.

They say is a must to eat so we try. Don't know what to expect since I don't eat beef but it's not bad after all.

Time to go home!

Bye Melbourne, bye people, see you in the next country!
