Travel Like Olivia: Korea Day 6 : Lets go Paragliding and shopping at Myeong Dong

Day 6 :

Work up super early ( to me ) today cause we are going to Pyeongchang for a exciting activity! Pearlie and I are going Pyeongchang for Paragliding! Went to Gangbyeon Subway Station to take a bus from the DongSeoul Bus Terminal and it takes about 2.5 hrs to reach Pyeongchang. Quite a few timing for the bus but we decide to take the earliest bus so that we can finish our Paragliding early and we can meet the rest for more shopping after that.

Bus tickets is at 15000KRW ( =SGD$18 ).

Here we reach Pyeongchang! Beautiful place! I email the paragliding school before we left Singapore so when we reach Pyeongchang bus station, the person in charge are there waiting for us to fetch us to the flying site.

The wind on that day are way too strong that the boss of the paragliding school told us that it is too dangerous to fly. Since we couldn't fly, he still bring us up the flying site to take picture. The view up the mountain is totally breath taking! So beautiful! Its really very windy and cold up there so after taking a few picture all of us run back into the car to warm ourselves. The boss felt sorry for us cause we purposely make a trip there but didn't manage to fly and hopes that we can go back again to fly. It is actually not a waste trip cause we get to see such a great view! I will be back again to make sure I am able to fly down! Boss and staff are very friendly too!

Back to ground, back to Seoul for more shopping! Gonna spend the rest of our day shopping at Myeongdong. Our wallet is going to bleed starting from now! Haha!

Egg pancake again!

This store sells really good snail mask! Price point for the mask is much much higher then the other Korean brand like Etude House, Faceshop, etc. Jaslin bought a 1 year supply last year and she is back again this year to get her yearly supply. I didn't get it last year but since she strongly recommend this so i bought it this time round! By the way, they will send the mask to your hotel so you no need to carry those heavy mask while continue shopping at Myeongdong.

After lots of hand and leg exercise ( carry our bags of loots and lots of walking ), time for dinner!

Dinner at this Samgyetang restaurant but the taste is so so only, I think I prefer the one that we had last year at another Samgyetang restaurant. ( check my previous Korea trip for the restaurant ).

Yup! It is truly a shopping day! By the way, this bags are just mine and Jaslin's only so you can imagine how many bags in total for 4 ladies? Oh ya, that's excluding the yearly mask supply we bought! Haha!
