Day 3 :

Good morning! Head out for our breakfast at The Sandy Bay Bakery & Café which is just next to the Brew café.

Operating Hours : 6.30am to 6pm ( Monday to Friday )
6.30am to 5pm ( Saturday and Sunday )

Overall beside this biscuit, others pastries is not bad and coffee is fine too.

Just right after breakfast while walking back to our apartment, look what came to say hi to us?! It's a double rainbow! I have not seen a very clear rainbow before not to mention a double rainbow! I'm like... WOW..... I can't believe my own eyes!

We can even see the double rainbow from our apartment! Look how clear one of the rainbow is! Don't mind the ignorant me, you have to know it's not easy to see a rainbow in Singapore! Haha!

Pack up our luggage, squeeze into the boot again, check out and off we go to the next destination!

Drove to Dunalley Fish Market to have lunch but ended up it's close on Wednesday! What a waste!

Operating Hours : 9am to 5pm ( Monday to Sunday, Close on Wednesday )

Didn't get to eat lunch here so we just walk around for the view and enjoy some sea breeze before continuing our journey.

What a beautiful photobomber!

Next we arrive at Port Arthur.

Walking the Dog Line ( ??? ) trail towards the Eaglehawk Neck bay.

Beautiful beach with nice weather! Hope that this weather will be as good for the whole day!

It's lunch time! We wanted to visit the lavender farm so we came to Port Arthur Lavender farm, but not in the lavender season so we decided to have our lunch here. The Lavender season is from December to February.

Operating Hours : 10am to 4pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Lunch with a nice view ( and lavender scent )!

Lavender iced chocolate.

Lavender tea!

This salt and pepper squid is good!

Seafood chowder soup is so so only, can skip ordering this.

Fish and chips.
Overall the food here is nice! Worth trying.

Start our trail from Remarkable Cave.

Maingon Bay Look out which is together with the Remark cave.

Walk further and here we are at the Maingon Blowhole.

A picture with the Remarkable Cave.

Walk back to our car and saw another ( very faint ) rainbow that falls right into the sea!

Continue driving...

Next, we arrive at the Tasmans Arch.

Park our car at the Tasman Arch car park and decided to walk.

Walked over to the Devils Kitchen.

Look who we saw this time round?! Wallaby!! ( or is it a Kangaroo? )

Heading next to the Blowhole ( again ?? ) and the Fossil Bay lookout.

The other side of the Blowhole.

Nice view at the Fossil Bay lookout!

Ended our trail ( walk and drive ) here and ready to head off to our next accommodation at Coles Bay.

Before reaching our apartment, we went to the Woolworths at Gateway Shopping Center to buy ingredient for tonight's dinner and BBQ. We have some guest too!

Operating Hours : 7am to 10pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Bigger Woolworths so more choice too! Done with shopping and off we go!

We lost our way to our apartment as the address stated on the website is actually wrong. When we reach the address stated, it was an empty space! So we got to call up the host and she redirect us to the correct address.
So how do I get this ( self proclaim ) amazing star galaxy picture? Yup, while they are calling the host and trying to figure out the way to the correct address, I look up the sky and was amaze by how beautiful the sky is, and here comes my GoPro in action! A short stop over at the roadside and I manage to capture this!

Anyway, here we are at our apartment! A big house!

Living room.

Well equip kitchen.

Bedroom 1.

Bathroom 1.

Bedroom 2.

Bathroom 2.

If you are interested in this apartment, check the host out at :

Dinner preparation starts now before the guest arrive.

BBQ in the cold winter is no joke!

Our chef for the night!

Guests is here and we are ready to embrace the cold and enjoy our dinner outdoor! Had a fun night with 4 of Shayne's friend dropping by our apartment for dinner. They were here for holiday and just happen to be in Tasmania so they decided to met up at our apartment!

Oh ya! At night while bathing halfway, there is no hot water! It is totally a disaster to have no hot water in a cold winter night!
Anyway, we had our own way to bath ourselves and good night people!

Day 4 :

Good morning! Here's a better look of the exterior of our apartment!

Breakfast at the nearby café, Geographe Restaurant and Espresso Bar.

Operating Hours : 8am to 7.30pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Nice view!

Coffee time!

Tea time for Teresa who don't drink coffee!

Breakfast with the view!

After breakfast, we walk towards the Great Oyster Bay jetty which is just in front of the Geographe Restaurant.

So beautiful, so peaceful...

Take note : This is not a painting!

The view just look so unreal!

My models of the day!

Went back apartment to pick up our luggage and off we go to the Freycinet National Park, fully make use of our time before heading to the airport.

Went in to the visitor center first where normally the staff there will help us plan our route in order to fit into the timing we have.

First station, a little tracking up to Wineglass bay lookout!

Tracking up starts now!

Nice view while tracking but seriously it's tiring!

Almooooooost there?

5 more min!!! ( after 20mins? )

Finally we are here at the Wine Glass lookout.

Walk back down for another 20 mins ( yup... we walk faster when we walk down! ) and drive over to Honeymoon Bay.

How romantic is it to take wedding photo at a beautiful place name Honeymoon Bay? Hope we didn't photobomb them since we are really far away from them.

Beautiful place!

Our artistic photo shoot again!

Time for lunch!

Having seafood lunch at the Freycinet Marine Farm.

Operating Hours : 10am to 4pm ( Monday to Sunday )

I don't eat sashimi and oyster but I eat abalone!

After lunch, off to the airport now!

Shayne decided to stay in Tasmania to further explore the place. Poor Simin is the one who could drive now and all the way to the airport so we decided to stop in the mid way to have a small break for her and also eat something again as we didn't eat much at the Freycinet Marine Farm.

Stop by Devil's Corner Cellar Door because this place looks beautiful and is actually a winery ( but we didn't buy any wine here! ) !

Operating Hours : 10am to 5pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Restaurant in the winery.

Order fish and chips from The Fishers.

I totally love the Hot Spiced Apple Juice from Tombolo

If not because the weather, I think we will be enjoying our meal outside!

This is the hot spiced apple juice that I mention and it's so yummy!

We also ordered pizza from Tombolo. Quite yummy too!

Actually we thought that this fish and chips taste better then the fish we had at the Freycinet Marine Farm.

After a short break, the journey to the airport continues.

Here we are at the airport, returned our rental car and ready to check in.

Sun sets and we are ready to say good bye to Tasmania!

Here we are back to Melbourne! Booked a Uber to our hotel as we did some calculate and realise Uber is more worth it.

Here we are at our hotel for just tonight! Because of our last min changes of flight, we had to do a last minute booking at Pan Pacific because our apartment that we book for Melbourne are not available for tonight. We choose Pan Pacific because the price is quite reasonable and because of it's good location, most importantly near to our Airbnb. If not because we can't cancel our Airbnb, I guess we will stay here throughout our days in Melbourne.

Tada! Our room! Perfect size for 3 person!

Bathroom.

Night view from our room. Honestly speaking, we kind of not use to the lights and crowd after staying in a quiet and dark Tasmania for a few days. No more star glazing anymore!

Went downstairs to hunt for dinner.

When you don't what to eat, go for the comfort food.

So what is comfort food? It's Asian food! We decided to have our dinner at Bangpop which obviously sells Thailand food right?

Operating Hours : 12pm to 10pm ( Monday to Sunday )

Spicy food is definitely my kind of comfort food so tom yam is something we should not miss.

Overall very authentic Thailand food. Comfort tummy and it's time to go back to our room to rest!
Good night!
