China, Fujian Xiamen 2017 Day 3 & 4 : Yong An -> Lin Yin Shi Lin -> Tao Yuan Dong -> Yi Xian Tian -> Wu Yi Shan -> Wu Yi Gong

Day 3 :

Good morning!
Check out and off to our next destination again.

First destination for the day will be National Park China, Lin Yin stone forest.

All the aunties and uncle here mostly are already in their 60s and they are very supportive by following the tour guide to climb up the mountain.

This is what I call the beauty of nature! 

There is a rock that look like monkey? What do you think? Did you spot the monkey?

After a great exercise, time for lunch! But... It's Hakka food again.....? To be honest I don't really eat Hakka food in Singapore before and I think I have eaten my whole life worth of Hakka food already! Haha!

But the Hakka food here actually taste quite good.

Checked in our hotel for today, HuaYue Hotel.

This is by far the most simplest hotel among the three we have stayed but the front desk staff are much friendlier then the hotel we stayed yesterday ( Chang Ding Hotel ).

Room doesn't provide any facial tissue paper and free bottle water. Oh ya there is no fridge too. Fridge and bottle water I can understand but I thought facial tissue is a standard thing to provide? Weird... 

Anyway rested for awhile and off we go again.

Here we are at another cave, Tao Yuan Dong.

Total time needed to finish walking this place will be 1.5 hours! So ready to go! 

A temple at mid cliff! Do some simple praying and continue our journey.

Sign advice people with high blood pressure and heart problem to walk slowly.
 

 Here we are at the Yi Xian Tian! It is known as the narrowest cliff path in the world. Let's see how narrow it is!

 From here we can see it is really narrow! All of us need to walk side way in order to squeeze our way out!

 It is so narrow that only this amount of lights can shine into the walk way!

 Finally a slightly bigger walk way.

Finally we reached the top! The view is really speechless! Worth all the walking!

Wonder why there is so many small branch under big rock? The locals believe doing this will crease their back pain. Interesting right?

Not all people climb the cave to the top so some stayed at the bottom of the cave to have some tea while waiting for us.

Finally dinner time! Super hungry after the "exercise"! Having dinner at YanJiangLou.

Omg... Finally it's not Hakka food! ( I don't hate but we really had too much of Hakka food! )

After a super full dinner, it's time to head back to hotel to rest!

 Tomorrow will be a long day, need to wake up early to set off to another place which is quite far away. Some of the people went downstairs to do some shopping while some ( including me and my dad ) stay in the room to rest. Too much climbing today so gonna let my feet rest well before more climbing coming up!

Day 4 : 

So, today start off with a bowl of porridge and a bowl of coffee! ( no cups here too... ) we actually asked for cups but the staff told us that the people here usually drink with bowl so they do not provide cups, we got no choice but to follow their style. Haha! 

Checked out and off we go! 

Bought some mua chee and sweet corn when we reached the first rest point. The mua chee is different from the one in Singapore! I prefer the one back home to be honest. The corn is different too, it's kinda feels like I'm eating rice and not corn, like a bit chewy (?).

 Finally reached our lunch place after a 4 hour ride! So far this is the longest journey.

Everyday, every meal, our table are always full with food! The portion of their food are always very big too! Anyway this is their culture to host their guest so gonna get use to it! 

 Haha! Interesting! ( if you can read Chinese ) Basically it says if we use the Mahjong spirit to put at our job, we definitely can do well!

Just another 10 mins ride to reach my dad's friend's hotel,  Yi Lan Holiday Hotel. Checked in and rest a bit to avoid going out under the hot sun.

Time to go after a good rest.

 Here we are at Wu Yi Gong, no climbing today so just a simple walking around to enjoy the fresh air.

 Sun is setting! Look at the beautiful water reflection! So nice so peaceful.

 

We will be taking this bamboo rafting tomorrow from the other side and will pass by this river as well. Can't wait to try! 

The end of this natural park is a super huge rock with some words engrave on it. This is a good spot for group photo!

 Pass by a place and think that it's a very nice spot for some "feeling" photo!

Also pass by some shops there but most of them are already close as the place is closing soon.

Time for dinner! 

It's the first time we are sitting together in a big table for a meal! What a huge table! We are celebrating one of the uncle's birthday.

Again, we got so many dish of food to stuff into our tummy! Haha!

After dinner, they decided to go KTV and so Mr Wei brought us to a KTV place which is just walking distance from our hotel and I guess we had the biggest room?

Mr Wei bought the birthday uncle a cake too! How nice!

Walking back to the hotel in the late night and we are surprise that there is quite a lot of restaurant and tea place which is still open at this hour! 

Anyway, time to sleep! Good night!
