Greece 2019 Day 3 & 4 : Mykonos -> Delos Island

Day 3 :

A morning started off with the jacuzzi!

Went out for our breakfast and saw fish market and some local selling vegetable by the beach!

Anyway it's breakfast time!
Operating Hours : 7am to 11pm ( Monday - Sunday )
**Please note that time might differ during different season

Coffee before anything else!

Overall food was descent, not bad.

Picture time!

Look how clear the water is!

And how fat the pigeon is! Haha!

Walk around after breakfast and saw a few shops open already so we went shopping alittle bit.

Hello doggy!

Pass by a small food market to see anything to buy.
Operating Hour : 8am to 10pm ( Monday - Saturday )
8am to 3pm ( Sunday )
**Please note that time might differ during different season

And look at the size of the tomato! It's almost the size of Qianyi's face!

Oh hello another doggy! Feeling very chill sitting here!

Now kitty also chilling!

Nope we are not sick or what but we are booking our Delos Island tour here!
Why? I have no idea too... Haha!
I am not the one who did this booking so I am not very sure if this is the same tour agency Boling book, but what I know that there is only one Delos Tour agency there.
Or
Check their website out at : Tours from Mykonos to Delos - Delos Tours

Take pictures again because why not? Since rare chance that there is no people around to photobomb!

Stop by to have some local pastry.

Taste wise not my style... Haha!

And we decided to walk a bit up hill to one of the famous Boni's Windmill!
We are walking by the side stairs of the restaurant Stairs.

Again we roam around to take pictures since nobody around and there is many locals residing at this area!

Nobody photobombing us!

Here we are up at the Boni's Windmill and here's the view from the top!

Took many picture here since there is nobody around! Literally NOBODY around! Haha!

Back to the beach and went into another bakery to get our breakfast for tomorrow as we need to wake up early for a half day tour.
Operating Hours : 6am to 9.30pm ( Monday - Saturday )
6am to 9pm ( Sunday )
**Please note that time might differ during different season

Bought cakes and smoothie to enjoy in our apartment too!

Back to apartment and it's my turn to use the jacuzzi!

We add body wash to have the bubble effect! Haha!

Watching sunset while having a dip in the jacuzzi tub! How good life is right?!

Love the sunset!

While Pauline and I is enjoying the jacuzzi, the rest is watching drama in the room.

Our balcony view is beautiful even at night isn't it?
Anyway, wash up and off we go for our dinner!

And we decided to go back to Captain's again!
Coffee for me no matter what time it is...

And another type of warm wine for them.

I have to admit we are big eater but what I wanna say is, the food here at Captain's never disappoint us at all!

Saw some shops still open so we shop around again!

Nothing to buy so back to apartment and stars glazing time!
Can't compare with the stars in Tasmania but it's beautiful too!
Again we chit chat, play games till we are sleepy and good night!

Day 4 :

Woke up early and ready to go for our Delos Island tour.

The tour agency wanted to charge us 40euro ( SG$61 ) for a 15 mins car transfer to the new port so we decided to save the money ( to eat more ) and we choose to walk there!

Get to see many beautiful view while walking towards the port.

Rest awhile and it's welfie time!

Finally reached the port after a good 30mins walk. Meeting the tour guide at 9am and we are just in time.
Address of New Port : Τούρλος 846 00, Greece

Hello Kitty!

The kitty post for my camera while accompany us for our boat!

Erm.. not our boat...

That's our boat! Time to board.
Delos Island is actually now closed for winter holiday and so no tourist are allow to go in there to visit the island, but luckily they are open for half day for a group of students and our tour agency manage to slot us in together with the school student to visit the island!

Students not here yet so we had the whole boat by ourselves ( for now... )

Since there is nobody, it's welfie time! Haha!

Breakfast ( that we bought yesterday ) on the way to Delos Island.

View while on our way to Delos Island!

Reached!

Entrance fee is 6euro ( SG$9.20 ) which is included in our package.

So now, question, when is the time you go for an island tour without many tourist around you? We are really glad that we get to visit the place without any tourist!

Ok, let me be up front that I'm not your good history student so I'm not able to explain everything I heard ( and I can't remember much also ) from the tour guide. I will just upload some pictures but will advice everyone to go over to Delos Island to know more about the Greek mythology!
It's quite a big island so I will upload a few picture so enjoy!

There is signboard like this at everywhere so if you cannot catch up with the tour guide, you can still read yourselves.

Walking towards the museum.

Many cats and dogs in Delos Island! I wonder where did they come from as Delos Island are surrounded by sea!

So we are inside the museum and again please enjoy some of the picture.

Not a big museum by the way.

Group photo with our tour guide who is already 75 years old!

Time to walk back to our town area again.

And again rest + welfie time! Haha!

We purchase our ferry tickets to Santorini from Sea & Sky Travel Agency and coincidently we will pass by when we walk by to our town from the port so just nice we can collect our tickets!

Back to our familiar town!

It's actually still quite cold and windy but we still see people sun tanning at the beach!

Anyway it's lunch time! Pass by a hidden restaurant call Marie's Mykonian Traditional restaurant and decided to give it a try because we always found nice food from hidden restaurant!
Operating Hour : 11am to 11pm ( Monday - Sunday )
**Please note that time might differ during different season

Lady boss ( Maria? )is very friendly and recommend food for us!

As usual, coffee first!

We love mushroom so much that we empty the plate so fast!

Indeed! We can always find nice food in hidden restaurant! I guess this is what we call a hidden gem?

Happy belly = Happy girls!

Some wearing swimwear sun tanning on the beach and my friend here are fully wrap up! Haha seems like we are in different country?

Back to our apartment area to explore again as most of the store opens today are different from yesterday!

Dry nuts store!

I bought dried cranberry because it's soooooo much cheaper than in Singapore! I love dried cranberry!

We really have some 'love hate relationship' with the emptiness here! Love is that we can take as many pictures without people photobombing as we want but hates is there is not many stores that is open and we can't do much shopping here.

Going to watch our very last Mykonos sunset in the jacuzzi tub and playing games at the same time!
Haha Yiping and Qianyi keeping their finger dry as we are playing some games that require them to touch the phone screen when it's their turn.

Where party without drinks and tidbits?!

And not forgetting the dried cranberry I bought at the dry nut store earlier on.

I will definitely gonna miss this sunset view!

It's me and Pauline in the evening tub again! I will miss this jacuzzi too!

Dinner time and again we randomly walk into this restaurant call Kadena.
Operating Hours : 7am to 2am ( Monday - Sunday )
**Please note that time might differ during different season

The food here honestly is not nice at all! Everything is so salty! All of us felt the same... We ended up not finishing all the dishes!

To make up for having bad dinner, we decided to have some sweet dessert at Raya to balance up our over salty taste bud.
Oprating Hours : 7.45am to 1.30am ( Monday - Sunday )
**Please note that time might differ during different season

Quite a few choice to choose from.

Luckily the dessert did save our evening!

Omg! Again complimentary Ouzu wine! The locals are just too friendly! Haha!

Back to apartment and we open up some can food we bought when we pass by some random supermarket as supper. Taste a little big erm... unique? Haha!

Anyway time to pack and sleep.
 Good night!
