Kyoto/Osaka 2017 Day 5 & 6 : Nara Park -> Higashimuki Shopping Street -> Dotonbori Street -> Owl Cafe -> Shinsaibashisuji Shopping Street -> Umeda -> Hankyu East Shopping Street ->

Day 5 :

Good morning! Taking the train to Nara Park.

Bought our breakfast from the family mart while walking to the train station. Remember this half boiled egg rice ball? It's the one I had in Tokyo before!

Anyway, we took the JR Osaka loop line from Fukushima Station and alight at Tsuruhashi Station.

And from Tsuruhashi Station, we transfer to the Kintetsu-Nara Line and alight at Kintetsu-Nara station.

Exit from exit 3 to walk over to the Nara park which is quite near to the train station.

Address : Zoshicho, Nara, Nara Prefecture 630-8211, Japan

Not yet reach the park but already saw some deer!

Here we are at the famous Nara Park!

Relaxing by the road side.

The deer are totally not afraid of human! They will just come towards you ( even though I'm not holding to any food ).
And they get curious with my GoPro... Haha! So cute right?

Was trying to get a welfie with the deer and I almost got kissed by this cheeky deer!

Another attempted welfie!

Temple ( I think? ) inside the Nara Park.

There is many stall selling deer's food but be prepare, the bosses are mostly not friendly.

150 ( SG$1.80 ) for a pack of deer biscuit.

The deer at Nara park will glue to you once you have food on your hand!

They might get aggressive so you can hear people screaming around running away from the deer! Haha!

Look at this greedy face!

See how aggressive they are?! If you don't give them the food, they might bite your clothes! But lucky enough that they did not bite me instead.

Pearlie left her pack of deer food on the bench and.... this is what happen! Haha!

Still trying to finish up the left over biscuit...

No more biscuit so they are less aggressive and I can take picture with them.

The only way to take nicer welfie with the deer is, choose to take picture with those deer that are lying down to rest. Normally they will not move away from you and the camera.

They can even look into the camera and take a perfect welfie with you!

Signboard warning people that the deer might bite, kick, butt and even knock you down!

The deer here cross road like a boss... the car have to give way to them by the way!

Last welfie before we leave the park.

Haha! It's getting crowded here...

Back to the Higashimuki shopping street that is next to the train station to look for our lunch.

Address : Hashimotocho, Nara, Nara Prefecture 630-8217, Japan

Many restaurant around but since we have not had any soba yet for this trip, we decided to eat at this Bunraku-Soba.

Address : 19 Higashimuki Minamimachi, Nara-shi, Nara-ken 630-8216, Japan
Operating Hours : 11am to 9.30pm

Many different set meal to choose from.

Here's our soba! Honestly speaking the food is quite good although the review on google are not very good but mainly is at their service staff not the food. Anyway, we are lucky, the service staff are find, not rude like what the review said.

Ordered Goiza to share again.

Welfie with our food before it's gone!
After lunch, we head back to Dotonbori street again because we really like the vibe here ( and of course food and shopping )!

Happen to pass by a alley that look so vintage.

I always wanted to visit an Owl cafe in Japan because it is quite popular here. I know that there is one at Dotonbori street so we decided to go and have a look!

The cafe is call the Lucky Owl.

Operating Hours : 12pm to 8pm

Very clean! Better then expected.

Instruction to follow if we want to get close to the Owls.

There is an entrance fee which is actually to get a cup of drinks.
Before touching the Owls, we need to disinfect our hand with the senitizer spray that was provided.

Beside Owl, they have hairless guinea pig too!

Is it just me or this Owl really has a heart shape on their face? So cute!

Asleep or...?

They have Hedgehog too!

This is the smallest Owl there! Look at those super big and round eyes!

The friendly staff actually teaches me how to get close to the Owl, and also we are only allow to touch their beak.

The staff also make fun of the Owl by putting a feather on it's head! That blur face from the Owl is so cute!

Haha! The mini ones are really cute!

This sleepy head Owl should be the biggest size Owl among all I think?

We are actually allow to let the Owl stand on our hand! But of course under the guidance of the staff.
Saw this Owl inside a room and get to know because of it's naughty behavior, she have to go to the "naughty corner"!

The street again gets crowded when the sky turns dark.

Sanrio ( hello kitty, little twin star etc... ) lover will go crazy here!

Saw a queue here at Ujikoen and wonder what they sell...

It's matcha ice cream! How can we not eat that too right?

Yummy! Yummy!

Continue shopping after finishing our ice cream.

There is Luke's Lobster here!!! It's just a few shops away from Ujikoen. We had it in Tokyo and it is super yummy! But we didn't had any this time round because it's near dinner time already, if we eat this we might not be able to have dinner later.

Found a smart foreign exchange machine! For those we already have no Yen already, can look for this smart machine!

What is this man doing here?

Heehee... Drug store shopping again!

This is how much other people buy...

Vs how much I buy! Haha! Now you know why do I have never ending shopping in different drug store? I slowly choose, only buy bit by bit each time and also the main reason is I don't need to carry too heavy stuff back.

It's Sushi time! Yes! We are having Sushi at this Ichibazushi restaurant for dinner tonight!

Price are slightly high but still reasonable.

We sat at the bar counter so we can see how the sushi master make the sushi for us.

Our orders! The sushi it fresh and good!
Oh ya, I saw review saying that the sushi master will purposely put a lot of wasabi ( they call it wasabi terrorism ) if they know that you are foreigner to make fun of you but luckily we didn't get attack by the "wasabi terrorist"!

Last stop of the day before heading home!

Here's my loot so far since day 1! Not a lot to be honest right?

Saw this Pablo cheese cake ice cream at the convenience store and tell myself I must buy to try! Pablo is Japan's famous cheese cake brand. Singapore just open their first outlet at Wisma and was having super long queue but of course they do not sell ice cream in their bakery shop be it Japan or Singapore.

YUMMY! I will definitely eat this again when I go Japan again!

Pearlie choice of ice cream will be this grape juice ice ball and it's yummy too!

Day 6 :

Woke up late so straight away we head to Hankyu East Shopping street which is walking distance from Umeda station to hunt for our brunch!

Address :  2丁目-2 Umeda, Kita-ku, Ōsaka-shi, Ōsaka-fu 530-0001, Japan

Too excited to see NO QUEUE at Ichiran so we quickly rush in without checking out other restaurant! I love Ichiran ramen!

Marked my ramen preference and can't wait for my ramen to come!

Self service drinking water.

Egg come first... but I need my ramen...
Oh yeah! My ramen is here!

Ramen gone and now left with my egg. I like to eat the egg last and I believe I am not the only person who eat in this way!
Gone! All gone! Nothing left... not even a drip of soup! Haha!

Continue to explore the neighborhood.

There is a big Don Quijote here too! But we decided to shop later so that we don't need to carry out loot around.

The sky is dark already! Didn't even notice that because we are in the mall.
Anyway Ferris wheel lights up!

Pass by a pet shop and look at those cutie!

Haha! I agree!

Back to Hankyu East street to hunt for our dinner.

Saw this Gyu-Kaku in the afternoon so we decided to have this for dinner.

5pm to 5am ( Friday and Saturday )

Was thinking to have the buffet course but it seems to be quite expensive so we choose the a la carte.

Order using the Ipad.
Ordered a few meat only because it's not cheap either. Haha! Last few days in Osaka already so we are kinda broke now. Must spend our money wisely.

The meat is actually quite nicely marinate so we ordered 2 more plate.

Off we go back home!

My loot today! It's getting more and more ya?

Tonight's dessert! Not as good as the cheese cake but not too bad.

Ok, time to say good night again!
