Day 11:
Good morning!
We are taking the train to another city for a day trip!
Off to Strasbourg!
Got our return ticket back to Colmar too!
Train journey from Colmar to Strasbourg is about 35mins.
The station has the 19th-century vibe!
Wait... The front part of the station is actually a modern look!
Very interesting station! It's like time travel from modern to 19th century when you walk from the door to the train platform.
Head off to hunt for our brunch first!
We really have no luck for the restaurant we wanted to try!
Wanted to have brunch at Abattoir cafe but it was closed! And again, google map says it's open...
Not sure why it's close, there is no notice or information about it.
Since the cafe is close, we decided to just walk and shop around till we find a restaurant that interest us.
Today's sky make the place look so beautiful!
There is a Petit France here!
The Petit France actually looks like Colmar, just less colourful.
This place seems very crowded with locals, so after exploring around, we decided to have our lunch here at this Restaurant Tonne Au, which apparently is also a traditional France and Alsatian food.
Operating Hours: 11.45am - 2.30pm, 6pm -10.15pm (Monday to Saturday)

Price is still acceptable!

10am - 8.30pm (Friday & Saturday)
Helped my friend to get her Longchamp bag.
Continue shopping. There is still many stand alone shops that are not open for business on a Monday.
It's my first time hearing this brand but we both got attracted by the bags that is on the window display.

This is the bag I saw on the window! I end up getting another design with the same colour leather!
Some of the design comes in interesting metallic colour.
They provide free engraving of name on the leather tag too!

Price is still acceptable. We ordered more food tonight because it's our last night of our holiday already!
Pass by Collégiale Saint-Martin de Colmar again and seems like there is event coming out because we saw people testing out the lighting (that's why the church are red in the picture).
Back to hotel and here's our loot from Paul Marius! I only got 1 bag and the rest is Wen's!
So loving this bag! Love the rusty and holographic colour!

Anyway, gonna start packing our luggage again.
Good night!

Can't wait to carry this back to share with my family!
Got ourselves a Bretzel to eat on the train to CDG airport! Smell soooooo good!
Last look of this colourful town and the cute train!

And Escargot for Wen!
I choose the Alsatian Sauerkraut as my main.
And Wen choose the Butcher's favorite part (aka steak) with pinot noir sauce and fries.
Lastly, dessert time!
This is the vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce.
And this the Christmas Ice cake.
So cute! They put the bill inside this small tin!
Went back hotel to take our luggage and time to walk to the Colmar station!
Time to say goodbye to Colmar!
Off to CDG airport but need to transit at Strasbourg.
Change to another train at Strasbourg and heading off to CDG airport!
Here we are at CDG airport after 2hr train ride from Strasbourg!
Which also means our holiday is coming to the end...
Walking to the airport from the train station.
Just follow the signboard.
Walking towards the airport are quite easy by following the big signboard!
Lastly, taking the airport train to Terminal 1.
Self check in.
No over weight luggage!
Futuristic look, looks like I'm travelling into some time machine!
Wanting to shower in the Star Alliance lounge but they told us the shower room is out of service! Such a disappointment from Star Alliance.
Ready to go!
Whole row by myself! I'm going to have good sleep on my way to Singapore!
Don't worry, Wen is taking the whole row in front of me.
Bye France!
Frist meal!
And second meal!
Reaching home soon!
Finally back to Singapore and guess what?! My wheel is broken by the airport handler!
There gone my Rimowa wheel! I guess the wheel choose to stay in France.
In case you didn't know, if you found that your luggage is damage by (which ever) airport handler when you touch down to Changi airport but you didn't have any travel insurance to claim, take your luggage and go straight to the Lost And Found counter, which is near the luggage belt.
(do not leave the arrival hall, if not you will not be able to report it anymore)
Tell them what happen and they will ask you to fill up a form.
(You need to know the price of your luggage and how long have you been using it)
They will then send someone to your house to pick up your luggage and send to the repair center. Once they are done with the repair, they will send your luggage back to your door steps.
Done with reporting my damage luggage and back home after a long flight!
Goodbye and that's the last trip for the year!
See you guy next year!
