Ok! 2016 is ending soon and here's the last retreat before the hectic month ( December of course) comes! Where's the best place for short retreat? Not other place but of course Batam!
So, as usual, we book our ferry tickets from Groupon because it's the cheapest we can find.
Went to the Majestic Fast Ferry counter to collect our ferry tickets and ready to go!
Beside Groupon, you can also purchase the tickets at the ferry terminal counter or from their website.

It's early in the morning and the place is already so crowded. I guess everybody is in need of short retreat!

Booked Leo car to bring us around to the places that we wanted to go. The previous company, Pt. Best Batam Tour we booked during the last trip are not able to bring us to Golden Prawn 933 ( reason stated in the previous post ) so we decided not to book their car anymore.
Leo price are actually quite reasonable, charging SG$70 or 70000rp for 10-12hrs!

I booked quite last min ( 2 days before the trip ) with him and he is very nice to get us a car and he is actually the one who drive us around.
First thing to do is for sure a massage session! Tried Reborn in Bali before and it's good so we decided to try the Reborn in Batam! I booked an appointment through their Facebook also just 2 days ago. Reborn is just located next to Nygoya Hill Shopping Mall.

And the best part is, they have happy hour which is 30% off! Just like the outlet in Bali! Happy hour only valid on weekdays and from 10am to 2pm. Sadly we are there on a Saturday so no happy hour for us but luckily they have other promotion! 2hrs for only 188000rp (SG$20.20)!

Massage was as good as the one in Bali! So good so relax! This is how we pampered ourselves after working so hard everyday! Haha! I wish I can do a 4hrs or more massage instead!
After a good massage, time to walk over to the Hypermart located at the basement of Nygoya Hill Shopping Mall to do some "marketing"! Head off for lunch after finish shopping at the supermarket.

Oh wait! Before lunch, we went to Batam Layer Cakes factory to purchase their Kuei Lapis first. Their Lapis is the only brand that me and my family eats! The factory is just located next to the Golden Prawn 933 seafood place.

We get to choose our own seafood and cook the way we want. My advice is to check the price before getting too much seafood although it's not expensive.
Seafood are all very fresh there.

Need not mention how fast we finish all the dishes because we are all starving! Food was ok too.
We happen to see a Lotte Mart Wholesale ( Korean supermarket ) and since we still have a little bit of time before our ferry, so we ask Leo to drop us there for awhile before sending us to the ferry terminal.

It's a huge supermarket! So many things, so little time, BUT we can definitely still grab something here! Haha!

Most of the food here can be purchase individually or by cartons too! It's is really a wholesale supermarket!
Look what Katherine did! Without fail, every time she comes to Batam, she will definitely buy lots of toothpaste back ( FIY she did purchase some at Hypermart at Nygoya already ) ! And I will buy lots of Yakut back! Actually I preferred the less sugar version, too bad Batam don't sells that but I still have to grab some because the price is too cheap to resist!
Now, it's really time to head back home! Back to home, back to work tomorrow, back to reality!
Oh ya we still manage to get some take away coffee from Black Canyon Coffee at Mega Mall to enjoy in the ferry!

Look what we brought for our chili freak boss! 100 pack of sambal chili! This brand is really spicy and nice ( can be purchase at Golden Prawn 933 too)!
