China, Fujian Xiamen 2017 Day 7 & 8 : Wu Yi Shan -> Quan Zhou -> Kai Yuan Si -> Home

Day 7 :

Breakfast time and while waiting while waiting for the rest to take their luggage down, again we are invited for the last tea session in Wu Yi Shan and also with the lovely people here! 

We will have a ( estimated ) 6 hours bus ride to Quan Zhou! Good luck to our butt! 

First rest stop for toilet break after a 2 hours ride.

Second rest stop after another 2.5 hours of bus ride. No restaurant for today's lunch, in order to save time, we had cup noodle instead. Haha! Although there is fast food here but Mr Wei already bought us cup noodle and all the way from Wu Yi Shan.

 

Most of the people here also eats cup noodle.

Free water provided.

Lunch cooked in 5mins!

Finally reached Quan Zhou!

 Walking along the old street.

 First stop will be the Kai Yuan Si.

This pagoda is actually here since 800 years go and it use to be a marine tower, not a temple.

 Longan tree! I love longan!

 Went to walk around the old street outside the temple but realize there is nothing much.

 Poor doggy in the cage... I wish I could bring both of them home!

 Got myself a cup of Dtea but nothing special! Haha!

Fruits of the day will be the super sweet longan! You can see how much me and my dad loves fruits right? Almost everyday we got ourselves some fruits.

 Back to the boring high rise building...

 It's dinner time and this will be our last dinner in China!

Mr Wei says that it's our last dinner today so we need to have better food. Oh wait! Since when didn't we had good food? Haha!

Check in to our last hotel in China! They are quite slow in checking I have to say... Two person there but only one is doing the check in although there is so many people!

Went to walk around our hotel area. Honestly speaking, I don't really like this area. Too many rough youngster that look a lot like gangster here. They talk loudly and rudely too. 

 

Anyway, nothing to buy also so after awhile, we went back to rest.

Day 8 :

 Wake up early to head off to the airport. Even though our flight is at 1pm, but Mr Wei are afraid that the recent strict inspection at the airport will take too much time so he asked us to go airport earlier.

 Doing some last minute shopping.

It say awful peanuts so I bought to see how awful it is... Haha!

Since we are early, our counter is not open for check in yet so we settled ourselves at the only cafe there while waiting for the counter to open to get our ticket and to check in our luggage.

Got our ticket and time to say good bye to Xiamen! So far so good for my first trip to China!

Flight meal on our way back home!
