Travel Like Olivia: Bali Day 1 & 2 : Life as a QUEEN

Day 1 :

It's been a long time since I last went to Bali! This time round is more special not purely visiting but also to attend my colleague wedding! So excited for my first overseas wedding!

Here we arrived at Bali airport! I remember the airport isn't like this new and big when I first came to Bali.

The first place we went is to have our lunch! Recommend by our Indonesia colleague to eat here for their special BBQ pork rib! We are all so hungry by the time we reach the restaurant!

This is their special BBQ pork rib! The smell of it just make us even more hungry! By the way, they do sells chicken.

Our starter is Keropo with their special chilli sauce! My first time eating keropo with chilli sauce and their chilli sauce is seriously good! Spicy and Shiok!

After a good lunch, time to head to our villa and hotel. We book the driver for one day so after sending us back to our villa to check in, the driver send the others back to their hotel then back to our villa to bring us somewhere else.

This is our villa, +Anemalou Bali Book this villa through www.agoda.com and apparently this is a very new villa. The villa is located at the downside of Seminyak and not the town area side so it is kind of dark and quiet during the night.

After having enough rest in the villa, we head straight to massage! Our driver drop us at Seminyak town area, saw a few massage place and we ended up trying the Nirvana Spa

Because we did not call up for any booking so they can only spare us a 30mins foot massage. Their foot massage is so good that 30mins is so not enough! In Nirvana, they provide many type of massage, aromatherapy massage, hair wash, hair spa, facial, manicure and pedicure.

Price for foot massage is 50K Rupiah ( SGD $5.50 ) for 30mins and 90K Rupiah ( SGD $9.5 ) for 60mins. Price for full body massage is from 100K Rupiah (SGD $ 11 ) to 200K ( SGD $22 ).

After a good massage, time for dinner! Was attracted by the exterior of this restaurant so we decided to have our dinner at The Junction.

The interior of the restaurant is also very unique!

This dolls are for charity.

Nice place but sadly, food are not nice. Food are too salty! If you still want to try the food there, remember to request for less salt.

Dessert was so so only too. Having such a nice designed restaurant, I think that they should really put in effort for the food and dessert.

The Junction is just located next to Seminyak Square.

Went to their convenience store to purchase wine to celebrate in our villa and enjoying our first night in Bali!

Day 2 :

Heading off for our manicure retreat and prepare for the next day's wedding!

Went online to search where to get our nails done and apparently this Think Pink Nails are highly recommended by many people so we thought of giving it a try. Without giving our driver the address of Think Pink, he already know the place and told us it is quite famous.

Look at the amount of nail polish we can choose from! We are totally spoilt for choices!

I love this massage chair! This is my first time siting on a massage chair doing manicure and foot massage. We just free like a queen right now!

After a good full body massage and while waiting for our nails to dry up, the only guy went to do a basic manicure.

Now we know why there is so many people recommend +Think Pink Nails I recommend this place too if you wants to have a good experience doing your manicure and pedicure or even massage!

Ok, its lunch time! We wanted to eat local food so our driver drop us at Warung Murah which is also located at Seminyak town.

Very local style food and taste is not bad too.

Every dish we order they will give us one price tag, and this is how they calculate how much is our bill.

Saw this cute dog in one of the bookstore at Seminyak Square.

After some shopping at the Seminyak area, it is already evening time and we went to Ku De Ta to chill. ( called earlier on in the afternoon for reservation already )

After a short chilling at Ku De Ta, we went Rumours for our dinner. Seems to be very famous too because we waiting quite awhile for a table. ( The result of not calling for reservation )

Food was nice but again salty. I think every restaurant in Bali cook food with more salt! I would advise you to ask for less salt if you are someone who don't take too salty food like me.

After dinner, walk a bit around the area, we went over to Nirvana Spa again, but for a Hot Stone Massage this time round. We learnt our lesson by calling for booking before heading there to avoid disappointment. I did Hot Stone Massage for 90mins at 170K Rupiah ( SGD $18 )! Where to get this price in Singapore?! Anyway I really love hot stone massage! It really helps to relax your body. Try it if you have not try before!
